My Poolside Outfits: Corfu 2023

I was kindly gifted some swimwear/beachwear from SHEIN for my trip to Corfu and they’re some of my favourite pieces so far! I have to say SHEIN swimwear is such good quality - the colour doesn’t fade and the sizing is spot on.

They’ve also kindly given me a discount code for anyone to use- 23SW639 for 15% off!

Keep reading to see how I styled my pieces!

What I wore: May Bank Holiday

I absolutely love clothing hauls and seeing where people are shopping/what they've bought lately. I have had a few questions on my Instagram regarding my outfits so I thought I would do a mini 'what I wore' blog for any of you that are interested.

I hope you enjoy!

Thrill for Threads

I recently came across an amazing UK brand, Thrill for Threads. Started on 4 January 2021, in the middle of a global pandemic, owner Curt aimed to build the UK's biggest illustration tattoo streetwear company. This unisex brand does not exclude, regardless of size or location, the price remains the same; meaning anyone of any shape has the opportunity to look stylish, a concept close to my heart as a curvier girl.

Thrill for Threads products are produced in Bristol, southern England with designs printed on a bespoke basis once an order has been placed. All products are made with organic cotton and fair trade ink and are vegan friendly. In addition, 10% of each order is donated to Sea Shepherd UK, a charity focusing on defending marine wildlife and conserving our oceans.

Nice underwear is something that probably every girl loves - it just makes you feel so good about yourself! Nothing beats it. I think the majority of people are feeling a bit lacking in confidence after the last year of lockdown, so what better than to put on a gorgeous underwear set and make yourself feel like the bad b*tch that you are?!

Here are 5 of my favourite underwear pieces that you need in your wardrobe!

SHEIN Picks: March 2021

I recently had the amazing opportunity to work with SHEIN *pinch me* who kindly gifted me 6 items of my choice. I've actually never shopped at SHEIN before but I've heard amazing things so I was so excited to try their clothing!

Firstly, can we just appreciate the packaging?! Every clothing item is separately packaged in these gorgeous branded zip-lock bags. I was so impressed as this tells me that the brand has really gone the extra mile and thought about every little detail that may appeal to their customers. I think, particularly for the price of these items (bargains!!!), that I was even more impressed by this.

I opted for 3 tops, a set of pyjamas, a bodysuit and a necklace. Keep reading to see what I got and what I thought!

Women Love Business: A luxury shopping experience

On Thursday 6 February, I attended the #WomenLoveBusiness event. This concept was first created in 2018 by Lyn from The Edge Events who saw a gap in the Manchester market and wanted to design an event where business women could support and empower one another. The event has grown into a success with regular business women attending and providing sponsorship.

2018: A year in review (pt. 2)

If you're just joining then thank you so much for visiting my blog! It will probably make more sense to read part 1 of this series first which you can do so by clicking here.

The second half of 2018 was equally as busy for me. I attended lots of blog events and had the opportunity to travel more.

I hope you enjoy!

Probably one of my favourite months of the year was July as I finallllly visited Vietnam. This is somewhere I had wanted to visit for years but, at the time, none of my friends were at the stage where they would want to go. Either they'd already been, were enjoying their careers and couldn't take enough time to enjoy it or that kind of trip just wasn't for them. Plus, I didn't have a guy in my life to travel with (no surprise there). So, I took the plunge and decided to go alone!

2018: A year in review (pt. 1)

So, I know I'm a few days late, I've been nursing a killer chest infection (Happy 2019 to me). I wanted to start 2019 first with a reflection of the past year. Firstly, Happy New Year! I can't actually believe we are in 2019 already. I feel like I blinked and 2018 was over but overall, it was a pretty amazing year for me.

I didn't actually realise just HOW much I did in 2018 before looking back through all of my pictures so I will be splitting this into two posts.

Here's part 1 of my 2018 in review. Grab a hot drink and lots of snacks - enjoy!

January for me was a bit of a blur. I have the worst memory when it comes to remembering significant things and dates/details, yet I seem to remember minor ridiculous things that I would never ever need to know. Anyone else, orrrr just me?

Blogmas #13: Influencer event with The Fashion Network

Last night I attended an Influencer event with The Fashion Network. Held at The University of Manchester's Student Union, the evening first consisted of a sample sale with a number of brands, including Glamourous, Native Youth and Daisy Street.

From 5.30pm, the event was specifically for Influencers and provided the opportunity to get to know the featured brands, as well as purchasing any items at sample sale prices if interested.

I was recently invited to attend the Femme Luxe Blogger Christmas Party. Held at China White in Manchester, the night saw around 100 bloggers/influencers gather together to celebrate the success of 2018. With free flowing prosecco and 2-4-1 cocktails, there was such a good atmosphere.

LKM Styled

Several weeks back I met the lovely Leighanne Krystal Mroczka at an event in Manchester. Being the chatty person that I am, we got talking and I discovered that she was a Fashion Stylist and Creative Director. I'd never been styled before and I loved the idea of it so we decided to work together for an upcoming event.

The event I was to be attending was a single launch. One of my friends, JSky, was holding an exclusive event to celebrate the launch of his new single 'Myself' for family and friends. However, there was a press wall and so I wanted to look my best! Leighanne and I decided that this was the perfect event to style me for.

DRESS

Leighanne began by gaging what size I was and the types of outfits I like including fabrics, colours, length and so on. I'm definitely a midi dress kinda gal - I just don't think you can go wrong - you always (in my opinion) look so classy and they're such an easy option! We agreed on a midi dress with a variety of colours as options, however, the more dresses we came across the more we agreed on black. Again, you cannot go wrong with a black dress!

After a number of different options, we agreed on the first dress that Leighanne found.

Pretty Little Thing, £20

I instantly adored this dress! The figure hugging style of the bodycon is so flattering and although it's a very simple design, the bardot puff sleeves give enough detail to give this dress something extra.

The fashion night, in aid of the Forever Manchester charity, showcased five up and coming clothing brands including the amazing Intense Clothing.

Designer v High Street: Sliders

Hi lovelies,

So this summer's trend has got to be sliders and I love them. Comfy and fashionable - what more do you want?! The best thing is that there are so many varieties too - I am obsessed.

Anyone that knows me will know that I am definitely a bargain kinda gal - I just love a good bargain! I probably have a mild shopping obsession, I will admit, so spending hundreds or thousands every day probably wouldn't be the best (plus I definitely couldn't afford that kind of lifestyle)! Plus, I also think that fashion is changing so quickly unless I was buying a classic item, such as jewellery, I would rather get more for my money.

I'm also the type of person that wears an outfit once and doesn't ever wear it again, especially outfits for going out, so getting more for my money definitely makes a lot more sense!

Here are 10 options for bargain sliders vs their designer alternatives!
